Once in a while I enjoy working on a pieced quilt. My collection of scraps seemed to be multiplying and I wanted to reduce the chances of “over population”. Also, I had been playing around with tea dying fabric and had a large amount of that assortment. I decided to combine the two and this quilt was born. The tea dyed fabric in the quilt is permanent in color. It was washed 3 times after dying, once using a chlorine free bleach. The finished quilt has also been washed. All of the fabric is 100% cotton. The batting is wool. The body of the quilt was machine quilted on my domestic machine and the border is hand quilted.
